Daniel Kitchen, Kitch-Vue Farm
Daniel Kitchen is the son of Randall and Patricia Kitchen of Danville, PA and grew up on his family's dairy farm. His personal herd totals 27 registered Holsteins, Jerseys and Red & Whites. He is currently attending Pennsylvania State University majoring in Animal Science with a business option. He plans to pursue a career in dairy genetics or nutrition after graduation.
Along with Daniels' impressive goals, he impressed the scholarship committee with his dedication to academics, knowledge of the dairy industry and overwhelming participation in the All-American Dairy Show over the last nine years. Daniel has competed in the Premier National Junior Shows, youth showmanship contest, and youth fitting contest.
As a reward for his achievements, Daniel was awarded $1,000 by the scholarship committee chair, Ryan Haines, as a part of the Dairy Farmers Appreciation Banquet at the All-American Dairy Show. We wish him all the best in his continued endeavors.
