All-American Dairy Foundation
2022 Robert D. Heilman Youth Achievement Award
Katelyn Taylor

Picture
Katelyn Taylor is the daughter of Laura & Brett Taylor from Allenwood, PA. She exhibited 3 animals at this year's All-American Dairy Show and has participated in PNJS & AADS annually since she was old enough to be eligible. Katelyn has also participated in the AADS showmanship contest and placed in the top 10 of each age division over her career showing.

Katelyn has a passion for helping other dairy exhibitors. She has even given one of her own animals to a dairy exhibitor to allow them to live out their dream of exhibiting at World Dairy Expo. She has been an active participant in 4-H, FFA and as a Penn State student. She is also active in National Holstein junior activities where she was a member of the Junior Dairy Bowl team that placed 2nd nationally and competed in the Young Distinguished Junior Member contest.

It was said of Taylor, she "is an individual who exemplifies hard work, is passionate, has strong roots of work ethic with a willingness and love for learning." The foundation presented Taylor with a $100 check during the Holstein Show at the Premier National Junior Show.
