Volunteer AADF Ambassadors

The Volunteer Ambassador program is for a geographic representative to “Locally Personify” the All-American Dairy Show (AADS) and the All-American Dairy Foundation (AADF).  Promoting the All-American Dairy Show Youth and Adult Events and securing financial support for the All-American Dairy Foundation.

The All-American Dairy  show is comprised of seven All-American open breed shows, seven Premier National Junior Breed Shows, the seven Challenge Contests, the Pennsylvania Holstein Association State Open and Junior Show, the Career and Networking Events, and the 4-H State Show each have require the overall continued success All-American Dairy Show.

Philosophy “Beauty is Functional.”  Every breeder and dairyman should attend the AADS show to observe Beauty and Function exhibited on the tanbark.  The lessons learned at ringside will be applied unknowing into their herd over time.  The exhibiting of cattle has a negative stigma attached and in reality has educational and commercial value for youth and adults.

How to Implement the Philosophy  AADF proposes regional wide volunteers to be trained in how to promote the AADS as the place of educational study of “Beauty and Function” and there importance to the dairy industry.  Increasing interest in the AADS will result in understanding the need for financial support to AADF.

Purpose of the Volunteer Ambassador Program (Two-Role Purpose)

The Ambassador Program is to promote the All-American Dairy Show as an educational event and the All-American Dairy Foundation as an organizational route to make deductible contributions for current Youth Events and endowment type financial investment.

Double Role
AADS Ambassadors Role - The AADS Ambassador Role is promoting all of the youth and adult events and activities at the AADS.  The role includes explaining the educational aspects of each AADS event.  Explaining how each event of the AADS affects the show attendee, exhibitor, and the dairy industry.
AADF Ambassador Role - The Ambassador’s role is explaining how the All-American Dairy Foundation funnels finance through Grants for Youth Events at the AADS. How the individual can financially support through tax-deductible contribution.  How a legacy to the Dairy industry can be made through endowments for special designated event. (Scholarship, Breed)

Emphasis - The emphasis is on Youth Educational Activities and Financial support for those Activities.
